For (Him)

twistedlogicx

The way you have me running,

Hoping to be something -

To never forget the forbidden touching,

Wanting us to be something.

Never knowing how to feel,

Wishing you'd want something.

Knowing we never made a deal,

But maybe there could be something.

Running out of time,

Running out of feeling,

Running from our crimes,

With the thought of you I'm reeling.

Missing what we had,

Telling myself that it's over,

Knowing there's no way back -

Wishing I had left well alone.

Sadly we all accumulate regrets over time, nicely expressed and written
