Secrets Within The Lake

Akshadha_Joshi1310

The lake near the woods,

It hides secrets many,

I think.

The monster underneath,

Peeks everytime I blinking.

I'd explore the lake ,

If I could,

The fear holds me back,

For my life is at stake .

The woods nearby,

Are in a wreath of smoke,

I try to deny the howls,

Of creatures so deep in the jungle.

I observe in silence,

As something moves,

In the wood's semblance.

I glance back at the lake ;

There is movement in the water ,

It makes me ponder.

My mind is never so awake,

As it is here,

I then lay down and glance at the lake ,

But with fear .

It is of the unknown that we fear the most. A most intriguing and wonderful write of fear.
