Forever

Tayama

The snow fell
And a flake rested on your eyelash
That produced a tear
And as you noticed that I noticed
A smile appeared
Crooked...yet perfect in its symmetry
On a face that when glanced upon so long ago... a heart broke
For how does beauty like this...smile at me, as I gaze in disbelief
For but by the magic of life, heaven chose me
To be loved by the girl, that believed
Her and I were to be...
Forever.

Heart warming that melts the snow and ice all around. A most beautiful image given at the beginning of this poem. Simply lovely
