Returned to the wild

Keeter C

The one that didn’t get away.

Fishermen will often tell of the one that got away.

Thus the story the one caught.

Lies and tall tales this is naught.

Oh the surprise when the line went taunt. The drag screamed panic flooded but I did not!

Breathe I did slowly surely and forcibly.

This was it! This was the one!

The lessons of my elders poured in.

I caught one another a long ago but humans have a tendency to not stay but go.
