I love my coffee, and my pie.
If only I had someone,
to share it with.
It's nice to have,
a whole pie to myself,
but to share it is a gift.
Just me and her smiling;
the two of us laughing,
as we both enjoy our pie together.
We can each have our own plate,
or maybe share one;
just knowing we'll be together forever.

I always loved sharing
Sharing is more lovely and this is depicted in this poem. Nicely written with the pie as a metaphor
Actually... The pie is not a metaphor. I just really love pie. All kinds of pie. ... except rue bar and blueberry.
