All her life she never knew her shine
People would try to tell her
She remained blind
Never loving herself or understanding her rain
Her mind was dead and soul tortured from the pain
She lived her life in shame
Doing her best to numb the pain
At her lowest fall she was left in the quicksand
When her heart was crumbled to the ground
That's when God took her hand
He took away her fears
Wiped away her tears
Healed her from the inside
A love so true
Nothing to hide
Through every strife
A friend for life
A love only God can grow
The seed only He can sow
He told her to smile
For her He would walk the mile

A lovely write of their faith helping them overcome the pain and trauma of the past, nicely expressed and written, given them back their self worth
Thank you!
You are very welcome
🙂
A poem of religious belief and conviction that leads to a better life. Nicely written in good rhyme
Thank you! However I honestly don't believe in religion, respectfully. I do believe in God. Hope that makes sense
I can relate
Respect 💯
