When daylight opens a new day,
And the School Bus is on its way.
He’s gathering cherries for a pie,
And giving baking a try,
When the kids come home and have a taste,
None of it goes to waste.
A good father will see God.
When the Night sky covers everyone,
And all the dishes have been done
When The Moon rises without warning
And there are no chores that can’t wait until morning,
When all the children have all gone to bed,
And all are sleeping and all are fed.
A good mother will see God.

I liked this one David in its openness it leaves to the reader the meaning of what God is or what seeing him/her means. It flows well and has rhyme though simple carries it along very nicely
Thank you it is a simple message. But seeing God or feeling joy is an important part of family life. Thanks for your kind critique
For me an interesting write, as each person will see god in different ways and it will mean different things, made me have a think, nicely done
Yes you are right. Thanks for your insight
