Of the one true love
You have been missing
Your long and lonely life?

Of somebody so real
You could feel her skin,
Her presence in your arms?
Have you ever fallen
In love at first heartbeat,
And stayed together since,
Unable to breathe apart?
Have you ever dreamed?
I have — and more than once.
I've felt her disappear
While I was waking up.
