dogs they are for life not just for a day
have a little fun then dump it far away
take it for a drive somewhere out of reach
leave it in a field or some lonely beach
roaming all around with no place stay
the only life he knows is that of stray
it his such a shame it has to be this way
cruelty to animals happens every single day
