Those times of old, you could call some belters,
Move cautiously with help from Heaven's helpers.
All of my life it feels like I've been watched over,
More and more of these days are feeling colder.
Maniacs are ploughing cars into groups of people,
Some sort of possession, minds flowing with evil.
Loads of blood stains on a dirty white t-shirt,
How many of these kids are going out to hurt?
Listening to that wrong voice inside of their head,
Demons destroy and only want their energy fed.
Why not try and do what's right for a change?
Not judging but some are just overly strange,
Truth of this world is written on a Bible page.

Compassion seems to be outdated with social distancing empathy has taken a back seat to excitement and thrills. It's in the movies and front page. This poem calls attention to the problem the question is will anyone listen. Well done.
Thank you, yes so strange.
I'm not an unbeliever in demons, but I don't over-emphasise them. A writer, C.S. Lewis, said there are two errors about them: 'To see them In EVERY thing, or to see them in NO thing at all.
Interesting analogy, I did seem them so believe they exist for sure.
Agh! I don't want to see them 'in person'!
Haha probably for the best!
C.S. Lewis is one of my favorite modern-ish Theologians. Brilliant man. And he's right. If all we see are demons, we have to question that. If we see none at all, we have to question that. Great offering, Orchi Wan.
Cheers pal!
Cheers! 🙂
On many Bible pages, in fact. 💯 Great poem, friend! 🌹👏
