Sailor in the Sea

mya

the familiar ocean betrays,
unpredictable winds waver astray,
the mad waves go rogue and surge—
water and sky begin to merge.

the sneering smile, to swoon,
of the hidden, mannered moon—
shooting glances at the sailor,
unaware of the lurking danger.

the immersing dark may terrify—
but the stars' songs amplify,
to the lighthouse the boat steers
with clarity, despite the storm, sincere.

A great metaphor for searching for safety in a storm or knowledge in the dark. A great write

As in life this write nicely expresses the searching for safety when we are in a storm, enjoyed the read
