Oracular

Libellule

Funny how it always does seem,
I pen this future in each dream—
these poems that I carefully write,
while I stay safe within the night.

With all of these visions to share,
going well beyond where others dare,
I am bold inside my vision and sight,
when I forge all my lines ever tight.

While I sacrifice a spill of the ink,
in order to arrive here on the brink
of another prophetic poem...
let this poetic oracle again roam.

Traveling far across the bluest sky,
as I return again to ancient Delphi,
delve far down into the deep,
unlock secrets from Destiny's keep.

Before I again put pen to page,
return back from that Homeric age,
depart a time and place spectacular—
living forever a life oracular.
