Third Wheel.

Rosie

I sit at my desk,
calling my friends,
as my head is filled with music,
my eyes feeling,
heavy,
tears shedding from my hazel eyes,
being left out by my friends,
hearing them flirting with eachother.
I hate this feeling..
The feeling of being left out,
It makes my heart ache.
I wipe away my tears,
sniffling quietly,
negative thoughts swarming my mind..
I don't like it here,
I don't like being left out.
...
I hate being a third wheel..

Worse than being alone being left out has an extra component that is rejection. A sad poem with a strong message.
