Day Breaks
The sweetness of sleep on a warm summer night, The fluff of pillows, sheets hug so tight.
Dreams linger, soft heartbeats Refreshing like lemonade treats.
Suddenly, the dread of plans clapped like a peel of thunder, Up! Up! Again day breaks, won't you remember?

The realisation and panic that another day is here as you are awoken from a blissfull night, nicely written
How many times have we all experienced this. Well expressed in this poem it brings back memories.
We create customs, jobs, duties.... And we become their slaves...
