Day Breaks

Claudine Johnson

Day Breaks

The sweetness of sleep on a warm summer night, The fluff of pillows, sheets hug so tight.

Dreams linger, soft heartbeats Refreshing like lemonade treats.

Suddenly, the dread of plans clapped like a peel of thunder, Up! Up! Again day breaks, won't you remember?

How many times have we all experienced this. Well expressed in this poem it brings back memories.
