Echoes of the Earth

Jainesh.D

The morning mist drifts softly through the pines,
A gentle veil that blurs the line of thought.
My footsteps echo on the dew-wet grass,
Each blade a mirror to my waking mind.
A river’s song becomes my silent guide,
Its current pulling memories downstream—
I watch the water carve its ancient path,
And sense my own life shaping, day by day.
The sun emerges, gold upon my face,
Its warmth a quiet promise to begin.
I breathe the scent of earth, of moss and rain,
And feel my worries loosen, leaf by leaf.
In nature’s hush, I find myself anew—
The world and I, not separate, but one.
A fusion of the wild and wandering soul,
Rooted in earth, yet reaching for the sky.
