None of us are perfect, we all need help,
God please, save me from myself.
Each day is a test, serpent in the tree,
He knows my aura, the facets of me.
Free will is given to us in abundance,
Feel it flowing in the underwater currents.
They hold animosity for our saviour Christ,
I can explain my beliefs and views over a few pints.
Deep down, you know something don't feel right,
Enjoy yourself to an extent, get home safe tonight.

Now look, lol. You knows only you and I are perfect humans! heehee.
Haha I wish!
My comment may be a bit along the lines of a supposedly true story - a priest said 'I'm a man of peace, and if someone doesn't agree with me, I will punch them on the nose' Doh!

Haha nice!
I posted that twice, I said, I posted that twice! lol.
How many times have I said that to myself recently? Great flow, Shaun.
Thanks pal!
Before reading the poem I saw the Good is God sign and it made me remember years ago traveling through Oklahoma I saw a sign on the side of the road that said Good God Church with an arrow pointing ahead. For the longest time I looked not just for it but for a sign for the Bad God church. There must be a balance in all things. Loved the poem and its message to loosen up a bit and enjoy life, it is short
Cheers, thank you, yeah I've had a weird journey, I didn't believe until 2020, I don't go to church though.
Brilliantly written and true! Amen! ππΉ
