God forbid me,
If I ever fall for a mathematician—
One who binds my poetry in equations,
Who draws graphs For all my highs,
And all my lows.
Who solves my heart like an algorithm,
Blind to the fact it's written in stanzas.
Who calculates the probability of my words coming alive,
Calls my emotions kinetic energy,
And life... just another symmetry.
God forbid me,
To love someone,
Who sees the art within me—
And still chooses math.
Because there isn't a sinner worse than
The one who met
Love with logic.

A wonderful phrase in a most engaging poem. Lovely
Thank you so much!!!!
A lovely write and a wonderful phrase, enjoyed the read
Thank you so much!!!!
You are very welcome
Mathematicians see figures like triangles, squares, but not figures of human beings, figures of living creatures, birds...
They see the symmetry of artificial figures and shapes but not that of natural beauty...
Exactly and that somehow scares me.... Thank u so much for reading and ur comment though!!!
