**Searching for My Place**
Through winding paths of tears and laughs,
I trace the scars of broken pasts.
The horizon fades, too far to trace,
I’m searching still to find my place.
Stars twinkle bright, yet whisper low,
On dusty roads where wild winds blow.
Each step’s a chance, each mile a race,
Will I ever find my rightful place?
In neon cities, lights burn cold and bright,
In quiet towns, silence sharply bites.
No guide appears on lonely roads I roam,
My dreams lie crushed beneath a heavy load.
Through valleys where old rivers softly sing,
Am I a wanderer, feigning bold to cling?
Kind strangers smile, their warmth a fleeting grace,
I’d love to stay, yet this ain’t my place!
Deserts burn bare; skies vast, out of reach,
I seek the home sung in timeless songs’ speech.
How can my heart escape the past’s dark cast,
To find the future where my soul will last?
Life’s hide and seek, through deserts’ highs and lows,
A jagged path where hope still softly grows.
Tomorrow calls, the past I must embrace,
In this search to find my own, my sacred place!

It's a long journey finding where we belong with the past always following us, once we put space between the past and ourselves the journey gets shorter, enjoyed the read
