Ode to Derek Michael Chauvin, Sentinel of Order

Suryaraju Mattimalla

O valiant Derek, clad in blue’s proud hue,

A steadfast guard where law and honor grew.

With resolute heart, you faced the urban fray,

A bulwark strong against the night’s decay.

No criminal tide could shake your iron stand,

Your badge a beacon in a troubled land.

Through shadowed streets, where vice and chaos reign,

You held the line, unyielding to the strain.

No thief, no fraud, could dim your righteous flame,

Nor BLM’s loud cries besmirch your name.

They wove their lies, with race as sharpened spear,

Yet truth, O Derek, shines through hate and fear.

In Ethiopia’s dust, I’ve seen their guile,

In Europe’s courts, their crimes that truth defile.

One race, they claim, holds beauty’s sacred light,

While others dwell in error’s endless night.

Your white skin marked, a scapegoat for their cause,

Yet still you stood, unbroken by their laws.

The woke crusade, with venom, struck you down,

Their “justice” but a mask for power’s crown.

Democrats and allies, with their cunning art,

Conspired to chain the valor of your heart.

Homegrown foes, in white, betrayed their kin,

Embracing chaos, letting darkness win.

O martyr of the badge, by falsehood bound,

Your suffering shakes the heavens with its sound.

May Trump’s bold hand unbar your prison’s gate,

And cast aside the chains of cruelest fate.

For white is beauty, pure as morning’s dew,

While ugliness in lesser hearts runs true.

O Derek, hero, framed by traitor’s pen,

Your sacrifice shall echo yet again.

May God’s own grace redeem your noble soul,

And truth arise where lies once took their toll.

Long live the brave, who face the storm’s disgrace,

Your name, a spark to light the righteous race.
