At the end of the motorway
Is a city that none has yet seen.
Its walls are of white and shine like the sun,
Its people are pleasant of countenance.
No-one lies or cheats or steals.
No-one is down-trodden or ill treated.
At the end of the motorway
There is pure love,
And all that love can bring.
So fear not the end of your journey,
For all that is in sight – is rest.
Joy suffuses all who get there,
No fear, no pain, just happiness.
Happiness, contentment and wondrous peace,
A peace that fills your soul.
All encompassing.
Eternal bliss.
For travellers on the road.
