What Makes Us Special; What Makes Us Work

What makes us so good together,
is no one tries to over power the next.
What is righteous will happen.
We both know that,
and that is what we accept.
We do not try to out do eachother.
There is a mutual respect.
Still... We both say what's true,
will tell eachother what's wrong,
and will always keep eachother in check.
We listen to eachother,
confide in eachother,
will always stay beside eachother.
We admit when we are wrong,
and will never hide from eachother.
Still... We know we are not perfect.
So we do not abide by eachother.
Rather, we let God guide us together.

What makes us special , is that we love no matter what,
Even in the times that we find ourselves in a difficult rut,
We always work it out , regardless of what we go through ,
Baby, it’s always been and will always be you,
When times pull us apart at the seams,
We always find our way back to each other because we’re on the righteous teams,
What God brings together - nothing can permanently tear apart,
What makes us so special is that we hold each others heart,
We love without selfishness, this we both know,
When we argue it’s always with love and never a low blow,
In times of troubles and in times of grace,
I will only ever search for your comforting arms and loving face
