Born in nineteen sixty three,
He grew to become a mighty tree.
His fruits of love fed the hungry,
His leaves of compassion clothed the naked.
He was an enigma,
Meek yet misunderstood,
Compassionate yet criticized,
A man of honour yet belittled.
He came, saw and conquered.
He was not only known for his gracious words,
But also for his kind deeds.
His life was defined by mercy
And love that always led him
To accomplish great things for God.
Can we ever forget
This man who lived for a cause greater than himself?
Never!
Forever to remember
His heart of gold,
His voice eternally resonates
And his good works outlive him.
Forget about his detractors
And the many media liars years after his death.
What they write or say is aptly summarized as nonsense,
Because his life really made sense.
Their made-up stories about him are only good for the dustbins,
Because he lived for Christ.

This seems a familiar poem of a tribute for a great man. Nicely done
Great write
