REJECTION

MYSTROGWAPO

At times I've been lost,

At times I've been the host,

Neither of which is my post,

I'm just a visitor in this frost.

I know all too well the cost,

Of rejection, ghastly as a ghost,

For one who failed the most,

In love, that sarcastic toast.

Her heart I tried to accost,

My feelings, she made compost,

All that's left in me is exhaust,

As my heart she did just roast.
