Breathe yourself into being

Zephyrschild

Body

I have neglected you, as all my night dreams and mirrors tell me

It is time to turn the tide:

Cells remember your original purpose

Attack and vanquish free radicals

Mutant cells

Invaders

Shapeshifters

And other things lurking deep within that have no names

Let the light of the sun filter through your eyelids and fill every last crevice, every last fold, every last curve

Remember your original purpose

A time before all the toxic prescriptions

That jumbled my mind and laid waste to you, my body

Breathe deeply, my body

And exhale twice as harshly and twice as long

Letting all the built-up darkness leave in a long trail,

With nary a whisper left behind

Exiting my bloodstream, my lungs, my adipose tissue, my organs, my muscles, my skin

Where once lived healing light,

May it so again

Breathe yourself into being

A meditative poem of imagery to aid in physical health. Nicely worded. Wonderful
