Disillusionment by Evgeniy Baratinsky

Ksey_Gan

Do not tempt me unnecessarily

With your return of  tenderness:

For the disappointed bitterly.

The temptations are alien of  day passed!

I no longer believe in assurances,

I no longer believe in love, neet,

And I cannot surrender again, guessed,

To dreams that have once betrayed me!

Do not increase my dumb melancholy,

Do not start talking about the lost past,

And, as caring friend, do not disturb only

The sick man In his deep slumber at last.

I sleep, sweet is my slumber moment.

Forget the old dreams - it’s enough:

In my soul there is only excitement,

But you will not awake my love.
