There's a war going on ,
Not a India vs Pakistan kind ,
But rather worse than that ,
Between my heart and my mind.
My mind knows all the answers,
Yet my heart doesn't stop questioning,
My mind explains and justifies with excellent reasons ,
But my heart can't start listening.
Stuck between winning and losing,
Sometimes I don't really know what's happening,
My heart says follow your dreams and take that risk,
But my mind stops it and tells me to not make decisions in a brisk.
Well, what's the end of this war? I am not sure,
Who will win, Who will lose, I can't assure,
But I have found a solution to end this fight,
Don't think too much, just move with the flow, and soon you will find the light!

A poem that most can identify with. The war between heart and mind is a most difficult one. Well written
THANKS dear sorenbarrett ...
I relate to this very much with overthinking things. It helps me to quiet the mind and just move with the flow as you said. Good writing โ๏ธ ๐ค
