Was any part of your love true?
Why did I let myself believe you?
You gazed at me with blue, starry eyes.
Now I have to find a better life.
Why did you leave when you said you wouldn't?
I thought we could last. She told you that we couldn't.
I don't want you back, but I have a message to give.
Was the loneliest ghost of all something that never lived?
They tell me that spirits guide us on our way.
This grave-bound life defies what they say.
I spend my days living through the same old death.
Perhaps I'd be happy if we never met.
You always told me the others were boring.
You stayed for the night. She took you by morning.
Someone take these words I have to give.
CPR has stopped because our life never lived.
