I noticed the date changed but the world hasn't.
We Evacuate to Were.
They Cry in Despair.
Where is safe to hide.
The country is sealed.
We’re waiting to die.
Blood doesn't run dry.
Food now a weapon.
Death now an obsession.
We’re guilty by birth.
Kill the children first.
Grabbing the vacant land.
No more Palestinian man.
Nation that knows persecution.
Carrying out ethnic cleansing.
Under blanket of revenge.
Whole nation is damned.
Hidden agendas in play.
Thousands die every day.
Both sides committed crimes.
No more peaceful times.
From history they know.
There is one way to go.
One man seeking destruction.
Masked lies in operations.
Covering his dirty tracks.
He’s not turning back.
It's now beyond revenge.
No one can now defend.
The flowing children's blood.
Message is clearly understood.
No hope, No humanity.
A nation's true reality.
World stands and looks.
Ignoring the religious books.
Arms by their sides.
Fake tears they cry.
They don't challenge lies.
They ignore and deny.
Bombs fell in the skies.
Knowing it's not right.
On television every night.
We watch the children die.
The blood drenched streets.
Battle grounds of peace.
Revenge is not sweet.
Killing needs to cease.

Exactly the Middle east is a disaster and there is no where to evacuate to.A very important poem.Well done
Thank you
As long as man holds his beliefs as more important than his brother's life there will be such tragedies. A sad and tragic view of mankind and how he treats his fellow man. Well written Tobani
Thank you
Ah. Aptly illustrated herein, we see the point of mass media and social control, of the television. Never mind the facts, let's wallow in the latest. Besides, the fastest route to extermination of a culture and people is their progeny. The only question remaining is whether it's better to abort mid term or at any point, let the children live but teach them lies and deceive them thoroughly, abuse them completely, or kill them outright. Hmm. I give up. Beautifully rendered with excellent imagery and a haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing. [P.S. I already "tweeted" my opinion months ago, I think.]
I understand there are no easy solutions, but if children grow up in that environment watching their families and friends being mudered daily and they survive, how can we expect them to grow up with anything but hate for their aggressors, then carrying the cycle on, I appreciate your feedback, enjoy the rest of your day
Excellent rite
Many thanks, much appreciated
You're welcome
Thumbs up to Cheeky Missy for her realistic assessment of the children card too often played in these tirades against this disgusting war.
Full marks to you, Tobani for the rest.
Thank you, very much appreciated
So true Tobani, the killing must cease!
Andy
Thank you
