Your Kindness

Parsa Samadnejad

Sold my soul to the devil to know where you hide,
Shackled my reason to clear out the way,
Let intuition's hand take the wheel as my guide,
High promotion for feelings to wander astray.

Your healing kindness emerged as a blissful rain,
Made all delighted, yet the fools stayed blind,
Clear skies soon twisted to tempests of pain,
Breaking the ship of desire, casting us to the tide.

My reason was trapped in a cage set afloat,
While heavy emotions kept dragging me deep,
To break the cage, to free me, I clung to one note,
That reason must rise and my feelings must weep.

Adorable kindness unknowingly drowned us all,
Even reasons won't stay against, preferring to fall.
