This country is,
the best in the world:
if only they would turn to the Lord.
... and realize what,
they are doing is wrong,
and if they continue,
they will die by the sword.
You cannot see the truth,
when there is confusion.
You can't tell the difference,
between the truth and the lie,
when you are under a delusion.
All you cause is destruction,
and say that it will bring reform,
when all you do,
is tear down those who want growth.
As those who want growth,
can only watch and mourn.
... but the wicked will pay for their sins.
Because when it is over,
the wicked never wins.
The righteous will rise up,
in the name of the Lord,
and they will win in the end.
So for those who cause,
death and destruction:
please rethink your plan.
Who bewitched you,
into thinking that you will prosper?
You are only killing yourself,
with your own hand.

- Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this piece in response to what is going on in Los Angeles at the moment. - O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified. Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? - Galatians 3:1-3 - ESV - Persistence is Key. Turn your eyes to Jesus.

A call for unity and humanity to be returned, nicely expressed and written write
A strong poem that may apply to many current issues. Nicely written in verse. Well done
Very true - and excellent piece my dear
I pray for the lost and confused ,
I pray for the ones that just don’t know,
I also pray for those of us that do know what’s coming soon ,
Though we will delivered - there’s are loved ones of ours that will not be
We have our salvation - but some close to us does not
Honestly - my Aunt Brenda and I are probably the only ones in our family that has a relationship with Christ
