FLAWS FLAWS FLAWS

Flaws Flaws Flaws

How I detest you so.

You come at worst of times unexpected but expected

You’re like a shadow I can’t get rid of

And oh, how frustrating it is.

”Embrace your flaws” they say

But how does one embrace the very thing that breaks them?

How am I supposed to make peace with something that haunts me day by day?

We aren’t meant to be perfect

but can we at least be good enough?

Can I ever be good enough?

Not for others, but for myself?

A poem about being harder on ourselves than others and the need to be forgiving of self flaws. A most interesting poem

A touching of beating one self up over what they perceive as flaws and faults, as the author says we are not meant to be perfect, nicely expressed write
