The Celestial One

Parsa Samadnejad

Your beauty bleeds Earth's shadow on the sun,
A shine ordaining ancient stars to cease,
Before your brilliance, my frail vision spun,
And startled on the moon's mirrored release.

The moment to behold your glaring eyes,
A meteor etched your grace ere the dawn,
From fleeting dust, a stellar glow did rise,
A bliss every lover wishes upon.

The heavens weep, a meteor shower,
Since your angelic benevolence flew,
Sirius' hope rules the clouds to cower,
For a blue moon, and the return of you.

Beneath your dusk in seas of endless dark,
In space, planets revolve to catch your trace,
Ghost of your warmth ignites the cosmic spark,
Burning the fireballs for an earth-bound chase.

Your advent accords the total eclipse,
To laud your charm, as spheres queue by caprice,
Though years may spin or my own orbit slips,
This vigil shall fade with celestial peace.
