Reflecting through

Reflecting through

Sometimes I feel like I can see through myself,
viewing the sites through a windows pane.
Transparently my reflection with no solid wealth,
looking back at me and my double focus strain.

The puddle reflects a mirrors reversed view,
the mirror injects another one of me to see.
An old picture captures a past image so true,
this windows image I see straight through me.

Each view tricks, confuses, and even calms my mind,
allows me the moments needed to reflect on view.
There are always new things in a refection to find,
seeing through myself is something I forward look to.

It was Narcissus that was infatuated with his own reflection and yet here self reflection is not one of vanity but of understanding.. A lovely poem well written.
