Fury

Damaso

A disturbing flow
is contained by those who resist.

The leader never shows
a shred of doubt,
even if he finds himself
mortally wounded.

On the other hand,
he awaits, mercilessly,
the final blow.

They guard, hermetically,
their firm gestures:
immaculate pride, fire!
Silence is the voice of God.

The voice in my first yesterday,
tears slide
before a still face.

Eternal fury,
forgiving vengeance.

"Silence is the voice of God." A profound line in a sea of profound lines. Wonderful job, my friend. 🌹👏

I'm so glad you enjoyed it; a drunken, cathartic piece of writing. Thank you so much for stopping by. Best regards.

Spiritual in nature with religious overtones this poem feels threatening. Well done.

A dark, angry and spiritual write, possibly the anger being aimed at god. Forgiving Vengeance, a frightening thought, the read grabs you by the horns and says listen, nicely expressed and written

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was a very relaxing piece, with a gentle tone, but it's not meant to be a divine outcry. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your words of encouragement. Best regards.
