The Unison

Gaurav Gurung

Your palm touching mine, Your breath grazes my naked skin.

Your eyes are shut but your smile can be seen.

Our bare bodies are in sync, huffing parallel to each other.

Our coil that we call "clothes" are nowhere to be seen,

I blow a cigarette and kiss you the smoke.

The tongues meet to tussle and play intricately,

I feel the palate of your tongue palpating my way in darkness.

We are one in this moment my dear,

"Do you feel the fire I light in you?

My spirit longs to leap off his pod to inhabit you eternally".

We're two energies amalgamated into one in this cosmic union,

I close my eyes as she pulls me closer.

She perspires and I kiss her all over whilst whispering her name into her ear.

I place my hand on her bosom and knead them gently like a chef with dough.

All the time we move rigorously in unison,

Our fingertips differ but the aroma of our bodies is identical,

It radiates purity that transcends the aroma of holy incense sticks.

One must surrender the nose to sense this stench---

The stench of bodies melting; devoid of death and norms.

The stench of two hearts forged into one,

The persistency of an alien organ invading the other, throwing both the offender and defender into a realm of pleasure.

The mighty dance of heaven falters before the confluence of two lovers,

The soothing harmony of lyre stands mock-ridden before the passionate echoes of moans.

The muse is all that flashes in the artist's psyche at the moment.

My Venus graces my path,

and I, her Mars give her what she desires.

When we're done, we cuddle and

wonder

If we're still one?
