The Moonlit Rain

Reynaldo Casison

I have longed for all the clouds

to drift away

And not Caress our Vineyard moon

Through the midnight blue

WithIn the hips of June

Have gazed my painterly gaze

at the mist of their gypsy dresses

From our loves shore

With the heavenly

and pretty evening stars

That diamond sparkle to adore

While It seems they were doing

Their exotic chores

Until the Moonlight waltzed

With their Sweet rain

And Love became Champagne

And perhaps theres still

something pretty silly

And exquisite

In longing for sweet romance

With Rose Jazz melodies

that

like Moonlit rain

Sweetly sings and dance

Reynaldo Casison
