The walk

The walk I take through life is with you by my side ,

Lord, if you haven’t saved me, I would’ve died,

you delivered me from a certain fate,

you stepped in to rescue me before it was too late ,

I was headed down a dark and twisted path,

making my way to Hell, as the devil sat back and laughed,

he was coaxing me and luring me into a life none can survive ,

but You delivered me from evil and gave me life ,

you gave me the freedom to choose his way or Yours,

you gave me wings to fly on my own -so  in the clouds I can soar,

the walk that I take with my Father in Heaven above ,

may not be easy , but I am rewarded with unconditional love ,

Thank you God for showing me the way,

the way to Your Kingdom- I will travel towards every single day ,

I know I will get there, because You gave me salvation ,

in which I will forever celebrate You with elation !! 

my walk with You will never end ,

Lord I cannot wait to see what’s around the next bend !
