ITS OKAY TO BE SELFISH TO LIVE IN A WORLD FULL OF MISCHIEFS

Nocturnal Soul

Notice of absence from Nocturnal Soul
Who shall notice the absence of a star when there are millions of them sparkling in the sky.

Trees shed their leaves and birds shed their feathers,

Thinking of a future that shall be brighter than mine,

This shows us why, we need to let things go by,

Without asking a question with ‘WHY?’

Nature has lessons to teach us by,

If you want to stretch your knowledge till sky high,

Use your sight but be High and Might,

Because no one is right, when your needs are on sight.

Even when the lessons are right,

People still lie-down and cry.

Shedding their tears, without a tale to tell by,

This shall take you nowhere on a ride,

If you expect someone to come and help you to get by.

The world is full of selfish and might,

And you shall succeed when you see this with the right mind.

  • Comment from author about the poem: My coach was a professional boxer and he always used to tell me, when people says that you are a nice person its always like setting a trap to take advantage of you and to exploit your nature. Its better to be feared rather than being loved, because with fear comes respect and with love you always expect people to behave like you think. You take want you believe what's right for you and always have your conscious to back your actions and don't give a chance to regret it later on. My poems are always a peek into my past and I don't claim it to be morally correct but its always a ground for people to think upon. Your past is a rough sketch to make a better blue print for your future and you are the engineer who decides what is to be altered.
