A MOTHERS GRIEF

nephilim56

She questions faith
Dead child in arms
If theres a God
He wont explain
Is he good or bad
A sadist insane ?
A politician
Or an alien brain ?

Those that worship
Wont let her rest
Blood soaked
She tried her best
But bullets and bombs
No conscience have
Only people
Tears sad.

She doesnt want to know
Of mysterious ways
Guardian angels
Her child they failed.
Its no time for chants
Or holy oil
Putting her child
In cold, cold ground.

In this poem the question is posed as to the individual against the needs of many the actions of the innocent against the guilty. The issue of God vs. nothing. We all search for understanding and meaning and whether we ascribe it to God's will or Chaos and random actions of the universe it still give no answers. A poem that raises questions and doesn't answer them and a fave
