midsummer's night

gray0328

the sky wears

its jeweled crown

of scattered stars

fireflies rise from

the earth like promises

long ago whispered

the warmth holds

us quietly together

a velvet embrace

each breath feels like

it belongs to

this night alone

Sultry, sensuous, enchanting, a wonderful world that I have been to. Nicely written Gray
