Extasy

amethyste

I found them both on my room;
Her long legs wrapping him up;
You could tell,
From the blush in her face,
That she was in the peak of ecstasy;

Cold,
I went towards them;
«Tell me!»
I told her;
«Why do you do this?»

She saw me straight in the eye,
Caught my hair and began to pet it;
«I do not know!»
She said;
«I do not know!»

    Betrayal without an answer. Forgive them for they know not what they do is the quote. And so it is with all of us we know not what we do. But that does not prevent the one harmed from protecting themself from further harm. A tragic and thought provoking poem a fave
