A home in the woods

and that’s all well and good

Another house in the woods, but this time covered in snow.

A place where stories abound

about the family that lives there

and friends that they might know.

Somehow, the crackling fire draws the family around

With stories of long ago to share.

What they're known for, the hydrofoil is not.

It’s a much more useful thing

Something of which we are all aware

Educating the deaf, is something for which they fought

Yet, they invented many things

to live without, we wouldn’t dare.

Never mind that, who could wear both of them?

They can tell you who's the rat.

They can tell you who’s the goat.
