My Garden

Parsa Samadnejad

As I was getting lost in the woods of your silence,
Falling deep into your dark, cold, emotionless eyes,
Drifting through the dream of your bewitching alliance,
And drowning in the waters where our memory lies.

What my nights concealed, now the aurora must confess,
The unspoken sun of my heart begins the dawn break,
In your lawn, ravishing sentiments bloomed in full dress,
And embers of love flared beneath the heaps of ash flake.

Covert seeds sprouted before your serene attributes,
The burning rays of my stellar passion shone from skies,
The cloud's sympathy to my pain, watering the roots,
Now hidden signs, clear as crystal in your brilliant eyes.

My garden's drought mirrored how you felt tragic unease,
I burned my withered, winsome home to offer you peace.

Full of vivid images this poem pleads its case of love and passion for another. Very nicely written
