Though we try
The hungry we cannot feed
Not for lack of will or skill
The rich, we cannot satisfy

A very poignant write, the poor go hungry but the rich still want more, sad state of today's reality, nicely done
This deeply wise poem in its brevity states the problem at different levels. Greed the basis of capitalism takes from the poor and gives to the rich but also for the very nature of man we hold onto what we have at every level. The rich are nothing more than poor with luck, opportunity, deception and effort. A poignant write and a fave
Too many things in life are self-ward... altruism is quite a level unheard of these days. 🙏🏻🕊️
