All love was lost

Sunita

I have always wanted to tell you

But never have I felt so much

And said so little.

What have you done to us?

Sunshine and butterflies are long gone

As if our love was the binding force between nature and our hearts

What have you done to us?

Maybe it wasn’t love when I told you you’re what I love the most

Darling you are the knife I turn inside my self-gladly with no self-control

That my love, was the love we so long desperately won

It was there, I saw it in your eyes

You had me in your heart, in place of all these lies

Now

Now even the courage to look me in the eyes

And say I love you twice

Even that’s lost in the ocean of our cries

The paradise of what we thought we were

And what we’d hoped we’d be

And YET again

What forever turned out to be

Is just another goodbye

But I stayed

I was helpless, tormented

Intoxicated

By the sweetness of your cruelty

Yet I stayed

I loved you against reasons, again promise

Against hope, against peace

Against all dis encouragements we could ever see

And yet again you left

And between what’s said but wasn’t meant

And what is meant but never said

ALL LOVE WAS LOST.
