Man of Faith

James Michael

Hardships and tests of faith

came to a humble man.

Tests too great for him.

Stumbling and falling daily.

Was this God’s plan?

With his right fist he cursed

the life he had.

The day offered no peace.

The night offered no rest.

Friends became enemies.

His lover became a stranger.

An angel came to him in a dream;

faint whispers from a distant place.

Comfort consumed his soul!

He realized his earthly life

was not the end.

He realized that faith

should be his guide.

With all his heart and mind

he arrived to a place he belonged.

A bit of Jobism in this one. Is that even a correct word to use?!

      Thanks Dude!
