Dear You

Vanna

Dear You

You know, I find it funny— how you once asked,  "How does someone break a heart without knowing?"Well... You. That’s how.

How did you not notice the pressure you put on me? How did you not see the pain I tried to hide? How did you not hear the sound of something inside me cracking when you spoke? How did you not realize you made me feel like I wasn’t enough? Like I was broken—because of you.

You moved through me like I was nothing, left behind wreckage, and called it peace. And still, you say you never meant to hurt me. But I was right there, watching you walk away with pieces of me still clinging to your hands.

How didn’t you notice the way my heart broke quietly— right in front of you?

Maybe you did notice.  And maybe that’s what you loved most.

Sincerely,

The Girl whose heart you broke

A sad write of a broken heart and the pain unnoticed. Well written in letter form. Very nice
