.... To all Canadians!
Dating from July 1, 1867
Though sometimes I don't know all the history of it
With one employer we always had 4th July
Happy American independence Day
Whether we, non-Americans, liked it or not -
The causes of it, the history of it
'You will have tea and cake and celebrate!'
Groans of 'Oh no, it's 4th July again!'
Cringe-worthy celebrations. LOL.

- Comment from author about the poem: Happy Days anyway. An American boss was better though, than horrendous non-American one that followed after - they almost went on strike, being treated as non-persons, but were too small a group to have any influence. I got caught up in an embarrassing 'grudge meeting'.

Some countries don't have independence days to look to and celebrate... and here there appears to be a choice haha!
Thank you A. Some used to say 'Argh! not 4th July again'. lol.
Well, we don’t celebrate the King’s birthday, if at all; so it’s something we can’t truly understand 🙏🏻🕊️
Thanks A.
Most welcome O🕊🙏🏻
Orchi you're making me laugh again. I want to see how many sensitive people get stirred up and propose another time for tea rather that 4. Fun read Orchi
Thank you SB. lol.
