Mud Bricks

Gewar

Dried in the sun,
Walls of mud bricks,
They kept me cool,
In summer's heat,
They gave me safety,
In the darkest night,
They kept me warm,
In wintertime,
Held back the wind,
Provided shade,
A single drop,
Washed them away.

We all need protection and safety .. that something or someone to make us feel better /more comfortable

    I like your writing

It’s not nice when the things that make us feel better more comfortable / looked after disappear or are taken away

This is clearly a metaphor and begs the question of what that drop was. Well written

  • Poetic Licence

A lovely write that has a different meaning than first thought, possibly the comfort of a partner, anything made out of mud is never going to last forever, enjoyed the read

    Great writing!
This one can hit home in numerous ways depending on how you take it!

This is nice rhyming and rythm. It delivers a strong message about nature also. A fav.
