Capitalist Crusts

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Hard work does not equal to a noticeable reward,

Managers string along slaved staff, cut the chord.

The chess moves have all been played, game over,

Earth's a chicken coop, evil elite push the boulder.

People are edged heavily towards breaking point,

Don't be clouding your mind up with a weed joint.

The bread isn't even, crumbs left for the labourers,

Capitalist crusts for the Ceos, they are our jailers.

With the chorus it feels song like. A poem that deplores capitalism as an exploiter of the worker. Indeed it is true that empires are built on next to slave labor where workers are taken advantage of and the weak stay weak and the strong get stronger. Its a small club that none of us belong to. Well written

A sad reality of any empire that has been built, it has always used slave labour in one form or another, enjoyed the read
